The Panel Installer is part of a team that installs a variety of metal wall panel systems including but not limited to exterior ACM panels, exterior and interior wall panel systems, floor decking and systems, and other premium architectural products manufactured by Alucobond, Knotwood, Centria, Morin, Berridge, Reynobond, Larson and others.

Job Responsibilites

• Strong and responsible work ethic.
• Prepare construction sites, materials, and tools.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Remove debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites.
• Erecting scaffolding.
• Load and unload building materials.
• Assist with operating heavy equipment.
• Accurately measure and read height, width, length, and other proportions with a tape      measure.
• Fabricate or alter parts using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
• Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and lasers to ensure everything is level and secure.
• Check work along the way to ensure it meets specification and quality standards.
• Install/use rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Install wall panel products according to specifications and building codes
• Secure metal panels in place, interlock, and fasten grooved panel edges.
• Work at heights with several elevated platforms
• Set  up and safely use company equipment.
• Strictly follow OSHA guidelines while on the job site. 

Qualifications

• Have  practical math skills and a working knowledge of construction tools.
• 1+ year experience with architectural metal wall panel installation.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction safety devices and PPE.
• Self-motivated to grow and succeed within your position.
• Ability to listen to Supervisor and follow directions.
• Ability to focus on and meet target goals and objectives.
• Problem-solve within the area of your responsibility and communicate potential issues to the Foreman.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors with varying degrees of exposure to the elements. 
• Ability to focus on tasks while being aware of job hazards such as proximity to machines, electrical current, exposure to caustic chemicals, slippery or      uneven walking surfaces. 
• Must have full use of legs, arms and hands.
• Good vision (with or without correction) to be able to clearly see objects close      or far away.
• Good  hearing (with or without correction) to be able to focus on the sounds of the workplace. 
• No alcohol or drug use while on the job. Random drug screening is a requirement.
